Tickets to go On Sale for Monday After the Masters Celebrity Pro-Am

Hootie & the Blowfish will host the 17th Annual Hootie & the Blowfish Monday After the Masters Celebrity Pro-Am Golf Tournament at the Dye Club at Barefoot Resort & Golf and at the House of Blues in North Myrtle Beach, S.C. on Monday, April 11, 2011.

Tthe 2010 tournament raised over $300,000 donated to the foundation. All ticket proceeds benefit the Hootie & the Blowfish Foundation, which supports the educational needs of children in South Carolina and the South Carolina Junior Golf Foundation

Darius Rucker, lead singer for Hootie & the Blowfish commented: "We so appreciate the sponsors and celebrities that participate in our tournament every year, and we greateful to be able to attract some of the biggest names in entertainment each year,"

Returning to the tournament is 2010 FedEx Cup champion and 2010 PGA Tour Player of the Year, Jim Furyk who along with teammate Rucker, ended last year's tournament in a five-way tie for second place.

Tickets for the 2011 event go on sale on Saturday, February 26 at 11:00 a.m. and are vailable at the House of Blues, Barefoot Resort & Golf's pro shops and all Ticketmaster outlets. Tickets are $15 and children 12 years-of-age and younger are admitted free, but must have a ticket to attend. Purchasing tickets in advance is advised due to the tournament selling out for each of the past five years.
