The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, founded in 1949, is the foremost health organization devoted to raising funds to support blood cancer research, education, and patient care. The group recognizes the need for research on life threatening cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's Disease, and Myeloma and seeks to one day be able to report that science has found a cure for these types of serious illness. The Society has chapters across the United States, and the South Carolina Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is asking for groups, Golf Communities in South Carolina, SC Golf Clubs, and South Carolina Golf Coursesinterested in sponsoring and hosting a South Carolina Golf Tournament to raise awareness and funding for the society to contact them.

South Carolina's Grand Strand is one of the biggest golf destinations in the world and the Palmetto State alone is home to hundreds of great South Carolina Golf Courses. Understanding that one of the state's biggest draws and pastimes is SC Golf, the Society seeks to use this platform as a way to help patients that are literally fighting the fight of their lives.
