Coming up on Monday, April 19th, players will convene at The Golf Club at Star Fort, near Greenwood South Carolina, in historic Ninety Six SC to take part in the Trescott Championship. The Trescott Championship is a SCGA Club championship tournament where 3 amateur members from a particular SC Golf Club are allowed to combine their aggregate scores from each hole in order to win the Trescott Cup. During the tournament a Pro-Am will be held with the 3 amateurs and their particular Club Professional using the best two gross balls per hole. The Trescott Championship is held annually and is a great time for club members and professionals to gather and spend some time together. SCGA Member Clubs are represented from throughout the state. Named after well-loved former SCGA Secretary George C. Trescott, the Trescott Championship is a unique and fun South Carolina Golf Tournament.
